Today she started randomly stopping and trying to stand on her head.
I was playing with my photoshop element tool.
Silliness in the tub!
Is it just me or do you think she looks like a female body builder in this picture?
11 days to go until Lance's exam! Unfortunately I passed along my sore throat/fever to Lance this past weekend, so he wasn't able to get as much work done. Please pray he gets better quickly.

Tagged!
I've been tagged by my friend Sarah (and my friend Mary FOREVER ago), so for those of you who care about my little mundane life (see previous post) you can read the below:
What was I doing 10 years ago?
-Oh man, I was finishing my senior year of high school, I had just broken up with my poo face boyfriend, and I literally had just decided on April 1st to attend The University of Alabama without ever having been on campus! I needed a change in a big way!
5 Things on my To Do List:
-Mail pictures of Madeline's 1 year photos to my parents (sorry guys!)
-buy stamps
-return emails
-watch a bunch of stuff I recorded on our dvr so I can make room for all my Thursday night shows! (The Office, 30 Rock, Scrubs, Lost, Earl)
-Sign up for a summer Mother's Day Out
5 Snacks I enjoy:
-Marshmallows
-graham crackers
-fruit
-the new fiber one bars (chocolate are the best!)
-popcorn
5 Things I would do if I were a Billionaire:
-tithe
-support a ton of missionaries
-buy a great house (with 4 bedrooms Lance!)
-travel a ton (I guess I would also need an au pair so I could take M)
-get a maid to clean my house once a week (I don't like cleaning, but I like things to be clean)
5 Bad Habits:
-Watching TV
-surfing the internet
-eating when I'm bored
-not drinking enough during the day
-poor posture and picking up M with my back instead of bending my knees (basically not using my body correctly)
5 Places I've Lived:
-Cincinnati, OH
-Tuscaloosa, AL
-Birmingham, AL
-Conyers, GA
-China (but just for 6 weeks)
And that is literally it-I really had to stretch on the last one too!
5 Jobs I've Had:
-My favorite Muffin and Bagel Cafe manager (yes, I still wear the t-shirt to bed everyone!)
-Camp counselor (worst job ever!)
-Assistant director of student receivables at UA
-Cook for Wednesday night dinners at church in T-town
-Worked inventory and warehouse sales for my dad's furniture store

Our Little Mundane Life
Playing in the cabinets is a favorite activity while Mommy cooks dinner

This is a good description of Madeline's personality lately. She's not trying to communicate as much as I would have hoped for at this point. When something doesn't go her way she just starts to cry or yell.

Just some sweet pictures of our big girl lately. She has been so out of sorts the past couple of weeks. I think (rather hope) its just due to her back teeth coming in. Here's a list of things she can say now:
-Dada
-Mama
-no no
-bye bye
-night night (more like nigh nigh though)
-hello (el-lo)
-yeah
-hi
-hey
-duck
-ball
I love it when she tries to speak in sentences. It will be this jumbled mess that makes no sense to me, but I know she thinks she just said something profound. Her hair is pretty crazy right now. Its starting to get long but not in any consistent way, and its still just in patches. The thing that's making it crazy is the curls in it. Especially after she sleeps. Bows don't help at this point either. She HATES having her teeth brushed. Its become a real battle for us at night. Any body have any suggestions? The best thing that's happened lately is the nice weather and getting to go to the park to play! It gives me a chance to go down all the cool tunnel slides again! That's the story on our mundane life right now.

Visit with Aunt T and The Masters

Lance, his dad, and his dad's friend at the first practice round at Augusta National
Tiger's ball landed about basically at Lance's feet once. If you blow this picture up you can see that "Tiger" is written on the ball.
My sister Tonya came to visit the other weekend. We had a great time visiting parks and going on walks with Madeline while Lance studied (his next, and hopefully final exam is May 9th, so we see little of him lately). She took a lot more pictures than I did, and if I can get some from her I will post a couple later.
Lance also got to go with his dad yesterday to the first practice round of The Masters. I was envious, as this is my favorite of the golf tournaments. Hopefully next year. They had a great time and it was a nice little breather for Lance in the midst of his studying. He said last night there will be no other respites until the exam is over. As we come down what we hope is the final stretch of this exam process, we find ourselves more weary than ever before. I think its that the last exam was the most grueling followed by the exact same with this one, and there just wasn't enough time in between to recover before he had to begin studying again. We would appreciate your prayers! We truly covet them.

Easter
With all the girl cousins-Lilly and Reagan are the newest addition of twins in Lance's family.
Madeline with her Easter basket. The doll stroller is a big hit.
Lance's family on Easter-JC, Kelly, and Gigi
A girl after my own heart! I ate way too many Peeps this year!
Ridge, Taylor, and Rilley-cousins
We had a wonderful Easter celebrating our Risen Savior! We went to church here in B'ham then, headed down to T-town to have lunch with family. I don't understand why the last two years it been so cold Easter day! I was determined to wear a dress this year, but regretted it most of the time.
Visit with Harrison
Mr. Harrison slept on my chest for over an hour. It was so sweet to have a baby do this again! (I also very much enjoyed giving him BACK to his Mama after he woke up!)
Madeline looks a little rough in this picture. She had just woken up from a restless nap. But aren't they cute together? And how sweet is Oakley (the dog) just snuggling up to her brother?
Aunt Jenny, Madeline and Harrison. We couldn't get one with all 4 of us in it, but Jenny and I have waited a long time to take a picture with our babies! 23 years in the making this was!
How cute is this guy?
My best friend Jenny and her husband Lance finally had a baby! Harrison arrived on February 9th and Madeline and I got to go visit them a couple of weeks ago-finally! This is the closest I will be for a while to being an aunt, so I was pretty pumped. Plus, now Jenny get to be a stay at home mommy! Best job in the world! I still feel like I'm "winging it" most days, but Jenny is a natural "Mommy!"
