So I keep forgetting to tell you (the 5 stalkers who check my blog but never leave comments), what we are naming this baby girl. Paxton Grace Poole-funny, I have said it a hundred times, but that is the first time I have written it out. We will call her Paxton, as I am from the north and don't do double names. Thankfully Lance is on board with this. I can't believe it took me so long to blog this. I have had Madeline and Paxton picked out as girl names since high school. I'm disappointed that Madeline became so popular recently, but I think I have cornered the market on Paxton for a girl name (I don't know any boys named it either). Again, the Lord confirmed that Lance and I were made for each other through this as Lance has loved both names. I don't have any really sentimental reasons for this name, nor does it mean something wonderful. There are 2 streets in Cincy, Paxton and Grace, that are parallel. So when we go there we can say, "Here's where your name came from-for that is how Mommy picked them." The only thing sweet about this is a moment that the Lord gave me when we were in Cincy over the Thanksgiving holidays. I was driving with my brother 2 days before finding out I was pregnant. I just happened to look up as we passed Paxton Street, and I just felt like she was real. I passed it off at the time because I didn't think I was pregnant yet again, but I remembered it as soon as I took the test and it came up positive. Grace is used a lot, but I don't feel like it is cliche. I do pray that this little girl would know of our Savior's love for her at an early age and that she would rest in knowing that God's Grace is all-sufficient for her every moment of every day. I pray that for both our girls.
Madeline at first mistoke her name and called her "Pac-ups," but then decided that is what her imaginary friend Maddie's baby sister's name is, and her sister is Paxton. She is so excited about her baby sister and keeps asking when she is going to be here. She likes to give me food and drinks so she can "feed the baby." She kisses and hugs my belly all the time and talks to her as well. My goal is to post pictures of our finished yard soon-for my mom and dad who are probably the only people who care!

Garry and Sarah's Wedding

Beautiful wedding, beautiful couple. So happy for Garry and Sarah to be married! Madeline had a ball with Sarah's niece and nephew who were also flower girl and ring bearer. She hit up every person there for change to throw in the fountains while waiting to take pictures at the hotel, then stayed quite at the church as long as she could watch shows on Daddy's Iphone. She stayed mostly quite during the mass with bribes of snacks, but had to take a potty break during communion. So not bad for an hour in church. M loved dancing. She was exhausted at the end of the night. She would take a ten minute break here or there and act like she was about to fall asleep then she would jump out of my arms and say "I'm going to dance!" She only had about an hour nap in the car on the way home from getting her hair done and then it was 11pm before we were headed back to my parents. She talked for about 10 minutes then all of a sudden it was quiet. She was more out than I had ever seen her. When we got home I got her upstairs and dressed for bed. She stood up to pull up her pants, jumped twice on the bed then collapsed on the pillow dead asleep.
Snow

We got about 4 inches at our house back in February. It was fun to play in, and actually lasted to the next morning, as first for me in Bama in 11 years. I do like how quickly it melts here. When we were in Cincy a couple of weeks later, they still had snow on the ground form the same snowstorm, and then it snowed another 3 times while we were there. You can see from the picture of our house how all the trees were down by then. They are almost done with our yard to show you the finished product. I will post pictures then.
Catch Up

So back in January we went to the circus. It was good-but not as good as I remember it as a kid. Maybe it was always lame and I just didn't know it. Man, talk about a rip-their cheapest light up toy was $12!!! Gigi had talked of taking M so we wanted to honor that for her. Also at the end of January, Madeline got her first haircut. I had just taken my camera out of my purse that morning, of course, so I have no pictures of the haircut, but here is the finished product. Us curly haired people need layers and this mom just didn't have the skills necessary to cut it herself. Its funny, M is my clone in so many ways. She too has one side (the right, like me) that curls more than the other, and there is one spot close to the back (just like me) that doesn't like to curl very much at all.The one major difference is that I started out with white blond hair, and she is a bit darker.

Big Sister Gets Her Heart's Desire
Well, Madeline would not hear of anything other than a baby sister. She went so far as to tell me two days ago that if it was a baby boy it could stay in my tummy. She found out today that the Lord has provided. We are having another girl! Everything looks good and I'm excited to not have to figure out a boys name nor buy/find all new clothes, bedding etc. I am concerned though about the enormous amount of sass that is my future (sigh...).
