Trip to Atlanta

My best friend Jenny and her son Harrison
Me, Jenny, the kids and our Lances
Classic Harrison look-though his eyes can get much bigger
"Don't stick your finger in my ear!"
I brought this chair up for a friend's child to sit in for dinner the other night and M has played with it non-stop for the last 2 days.
Its so much fun to rip the bumpers off my bed

We went to Atlanta last weekend to see my parents who were there for business (though I have no pictures of them-my parents took all of them while we were together). We also got to have dinner with my BFF Jenny, her 3 month old son, and her Lance, which was the best! That was the first time we have stayed at a hotel with M. I wish I would have taken a picture of the room because it was a pretty sweet setup for having a crib (it was a Westin). We went swimming in their indoor pool-which again-mom and dad took all the pictures on their camera. M had a blast and I can see that this summer is going to be much more fun at the pool than last summer.

Mother's Day

Well, Lance felt "about the same" as his last exam which he passed so we are hopeful, but won't have the results until July. Thanks to everyone who prayed for us. We had a great Saturday which we called NAS ("No Agenda Saturday"). This was the first in a long time for us. Lance and went with his mom on Sunday back to Houston for her first checkup. The doctor was pleased with how she was responding to the treatment. The cancer is still widespread though her bones but overall it was a mild recession, so we were thankful and hopeful with this report. Hope all my "Mommy" friends had a great Mother's Day.

Cute Bottom Girl You Make the Rockin' World Go 'Round

This is how she was watching television one day.
Ready for my bath! (I told myself I wasn't going to post pictures like this for M's sake, but I couldn't help myself).

Well, in 12 hours Lance will hopefully begin taking his last actuarial exam EVER! It seems so strange because our whole married life (five years next month) he's been doing this every six months; though the last two have been significantly harder than the others in every way imaginable. I remember going to a friend's house this time 3 years ago and her husband was about to take his last exam, and I remember thinking that it felt like forever away before we might reach that day, and now its here (assuming L passes-Lord willing!). Its going to be a whole new life beginning Saturday. Please pray for Lance if you are reading this on Friday. Its a 6 hour exam so your prayers will be good all day! Thanks friends!
