Lance insisted on having a picture of him planking
Lance and I took a little mini-vacation to visit my old college roommates, Rachelle and Tracy, who are living in Seattle now. We had a great time! They had to work on Thursday so they loaned us the car. We headed downtown on an absolutely beautiful day. High 50's and sunny. We took "the ducks" tour, had lunch at the space needle, hit Pike's Place Market, walked the waterfront and then met up with the girls for dinner in a fun part of town. Friday, we headed up to Woodenville where many of the Washington wineries have tasting rooms. Saturday we were going to fly (Rachelle is a pilot) but the weather was not clear, so we instead opted to go to the museum of glass, then home to watch the Bama game, then to see a movie since it was still 630 there when the game ended!
We slept until 8am every day-well we stayed in bed until 8, I awoke every day between 5-530am then dosed. The girls stayed here and split time between Lance's dad, and my friend Carianne. A big thank you to both of them for loving us and our girls so well! So thankful to Rachelle and Tracy for hosting us as well! Can't believe 9 years have gone by so quickly. I forewarned Lance, "this trip might be a giggle-fest." He said he figured that out before he decided he wanted to come. It was just that! So thankful for my friends and already missing them.
