Miss Independence

Madeline has been very independent lately. She has gone to the bathroom by herself several times (not always completely successful). The other day I was on the phone and she came into the kitchen like this. She said, "Mommy, I went to bathroom all by myself! But my pants are a little messed up."
The child had both legs in the same short hole and her panties were on backwards, inside out, and riding up. I did everything I could not to let her see how hard I was laughing.

Garry and Sarah came to visit 2 weeks before we moved. We had so much fun and cant wait for Feb. 27-they finally set a wedding date!

Well I'm back. After almost catching up on everyone else's blogs, I was ready to do a post of my own. I also was without phone and Internet for a week (thanks for messing up my order AT&T, but you are better than Charter!), and we couldn't find our cord to download pictures. So alas, almost 3 weeks later, we are in, the boxes in the house are mostly unpacked (dont look in my garage though), and we are beginning to settle in. M did great adjusting to her new room. She only slept with us the first night, and has stayed in her bed since. She was in a bad habit of coming out of her room after we put her to bed at our old house, but not once has she done it here-praise God! The first time she walked in here she ran around the rooms in circles. But for a few days after she did say "I want my old house back." Taking 5 of the 15 (literally 15 trees) in our front yard down next weekend by ourselves (well at least not professional help). Pictures and husband recruitment to follow.
