I Am One Month Old!

Well, we can hardly believe that a whole month has gone by. It's hard to remember what life was like without Madeline. We are having warmer weather so Maddie and I have been making same excursions out of the house, which has been really nice for me. Though leaving the house now takes a minimum of 20 minutes. Lance has one of his exams next Wednesday. Please pray that he passes it. We are anxious for it to be over so that he doesn't have to be away from us so much to study. On a side note, January 18 was the last time I slept for more than 5 hours in a row...boo hoo :(

Aunt T comes to visit

Teresa's sister, Tonya, came to visit us this weekend. We took her to Dreamland last night for some ribs and bread. It was also the first time we've taken Maddie out for dinner - she thought it a bit ridiculous that any dreamland would serve anything besides ribs and bread. This Dreamland does serve sides and desserts...I promised Maddie I would take her to the original sometime soon.

We've updated the snapfish link, so if you'd like to see more pictures of Maddie, click the link.

Gigi Comes to Stay With Me...

We went to the doctor this week. Madeline now weighs 8 lbs. 4 1/2 oz! Everything is checking out normally. Her stomach is getting huge! We call it her "Old man hard belly." Her Gigi comes up a couple of times a week to give me a break. I have been feeling great so I started going back to the gym last week. Her umbilical cord fell off so we gave her a real bath this week. She didn't know what to think at first, but soon came to like it. Here are some pictures. In the bathtub, you can see the belly I'm talking about!

Week 2

Today was a beautiful day in Birmingham. Since Teresa hasn't been able to get out of the house that much, I took her and Maddie for a drive. If you think there's not much undeveloped land in Birmingham, drive Sicard Hollow Rd from Grants Mill to the Colonade. Maddie didn't seem to mind the bumps and curves, as you can see from the picture.
