Atlanta and Fall Festival

With friends Juda and Zek at our church Fall Festival

My friends Sarah and Anthony and their boys-cute family! I dont know if we'll ever be the cute family that has coordinating costumes. There's always next year I guess...

Our friend Josh being the baby whisperer for Paxton since I was sans Lance

Little Miss Sorority here with her hand on the hip and her friend Reagan

Only pic of Paxton I got with her whole costume on. Maybe next week

BFF Jenny's son Davis (5 weeks older, but Pax has already surpassed him in weight-she's a turkey)

Fall Festival in Kennesaw

Madeline and Jenny's other son Harrison

We hung out in Atlanta this weekend with best friend Jenny and her boys while my Lance was in NYC and her Lance went to Knoxville for the Bama game. We had so much fun, hitting the park and a fall festival. Thanks for hosting us Jenny!

Birthdays-late

I have cute girls

Lance assembling his new smoker. Madeline was playing "Jack in the Box" as well. Lance would have to "wind it up" and sing the song and then M would pop out. Why are children so endlessly amused with a box?

Lunch on Lance's birthday with his dad and grandparents

M reading to Paxton.

Breakfast casserole was our "cake" on b-day morning.

Just so sweet. Paxton really loves Lance. M was more attached to me.

My birthday celebration. We split that cupcake 3 ways I will have you know! That's real love.

Lance got the big cake this year (as our birthdays are so close we only get one cake so we don't gain 10 pounds the first week of October), and he requested cookie cake. Twist my arm! Unfortunately as he brought it into the house he squished the top and it got a little messed up.

So I'm a little late on this. My birthday was Oct. 1 (Im Thirty-one-derful, SO cheesy!) and Lance's 30th birthday was Oct. 6. I was very excited for Lance to turn 30. I didn't like being in my 30's alone. For his birthday we gave him a smoker (which he has wanted for over a year), and a golf trip to NYC. A year and a half ago while we were watching the US Open at Beth Page Black I thought of this idea to send him on a golf trip for his 30th. I thought it would be too hard to get to Beth Page, so I set my sights on other public courses around the Southeast where the Pros play. I counted myself out once we found out we were prego with Paxton. So I was still trying to get it all together when we found out that our friends Robert and Liz (who currently live in London) were going to be in NYC for the fall. Robert is a perfect golf companion. So it is going to work out after all for them to play Beth Page Black. More pictures of this to come after the trip later this month. Happy birthday to my wonderful husband who has more gray hair than me! Muuuhahahahaha!

Can You Tell the Difference?

.

People seem to think our girls look so different. So can anyone tell the difference between our girls?

Impromptu Cincy Trip

Here are the street signs in Cincy. Getting them blown up and framed for her room.

Mimi and Poppy were so excited to have the girls at their house.

My great Aunt Fay

My friend Tammy who was ready to bust with baby #3 who came today 10/10/10. Her other two have birthdays on 10/5 and 10/6. One birthday party for all!

My friend Becky who had her second child about a month before Paxton. Tammy and Becky are always gone on the holidays when I come to town. It was great to get to see them this time!

My aunt Susan and cousin Natalie

Hanging out at Uncle Garry and Aunt Sarah's new house. Well new to us since they got it in March after the wedding and we are just getting to see it. They found out this week they are having a boy! The Schloemer name shall live on. My brother is over the moon. He really wanted a boy and has been jokingly referring to the baby as Hans Schloemer. A good German name.

My Grandma Schloemer

Lance when nuts for the games. I think he played 4-which cost extra!

They had Sponge Bob (who I hate) and Dora out. M saw them and gasped "Mommy, the REAL Sponge Bob!" She ran right up to Dora and hugged her and did not let go until I had to remove her so the people next to us could get a picture with just their kids in the shot.

My favorite! We rode this like 3 times too.

Ok, they had all these really frightening displays like this. This thing was advertised for small children. Talk about nightmares after this.

my stomach can no longer handle these types of rides. My mom cannot either-check out her facial expression behind us. Every shot looks like this. At one point she yelled out "Im going to be sick to my stomach!" To which M replied "Im going to be sick to my stomach too!" She loved it though.

This little frog hopper was her favorite she rode it 2 or 3 times.

Lane had to work a little in Cincy so we tagged along. I havent been before thanksgiving in many years. Cincy in the fall is so great! We went to Coney Island for the Falloween event they had. Beside the Pool there is a small amusement park (like the one in NYC). The first ride Lance took M on was a roller coaster. She kind of liked it but didnt want to do it again. Everything else was a hit. We got to see some family while we were in town, but we played it pretty low key since Pax was just 6 weeks old. Didnt want to expose her to a lot of people. We even got to go on a date kid free! We had dinner and saw "The Town." Liked the movie, but I must judge here for a second. Some people walked into this "R" rated movie with their 3 children all under the age of 10! This movie had some language, lots of violence and 2 s*x scenes. We were applauded. Ok, so maybe we shouldn't have been there either, but still! The girls traveled great too!
