My amazing friend Carianne made new curtains for Paxton's room

Aunt Terry made some beautiful matchy-matchy shirts for the girls and cousin Rilley
This one has become obsessed with the baby strollers
Cinderella won for best costume at our church Trunk-or-Treat! She won a stuffed squirrel who she named "Chip."

This This picture makes me laugh every time I see it.

Seattle

 Massive flower arrangements for $10!
 house from Sleepless in Seattle

 Original Starbucks
All the Washington wineries have tasting rooms just north of Seattle. We also visited the Red Hook Brewery there too!

The Museum of Glass in Tacoma
The have an auditorium where you can watch them blow the glass pieces
Lance insisted on having a picture of him planking

Lance and I took a little mini-vacation to visit my old college roommates, Rachelle and Tracy, who are living in Seattle now. We had a great time! They had to work on Thursday so they loaned us the car. We headed downtown on an absolutely beautiful day. High 50's and sunny. We took "the ducks" tour, had lunch at the space needle, hit Pike's Place Market, walked the waterfront and then met up with the girls for dinner in a fun part of town. Friday, we headed up to Woodenville where many of the Washington wineries have tasting rooms. Saturday we were going to fly (Rachelle is a pilot) but the weather was not clear, so we instead opted to go to the museum of glass, then home to watch the Bama game, then to see a movie since it was still 630 there when the game ended!
We slept until 8am every day-well we stayed in bed until 8, I awoke every day between 5-530am then dosed. The girls stayed here and split time between Lance's dad, and my friend Carianne. A big thank you to both of them for loving us and our girls so well! So thankful to Rachelle and Tracy for hosting us as well! Can't believe 9 years have gone by so quickly. I forewarned Lance, "this trip might be a giggle-fest." He said he figured that out before he decided he wanted to come. It was just that! So thankful for my friends and already missing them.

1 Year Photos and Family

http://www.jevoisphotography.com/blog/paxton-and-her-fam-family-portraits/

My sweet friend Hillary took some amazing pictures of our family. The purpose was to do a one year (just about 6 weeks late!) photo shoot for Pax, and it looks like this will be the X-mas card as well. You can click on her blog link above.

Its Fall

Did a little decorating today. I made the wreath-crafty, that's me! What a beautiful day to get a few things done outside! (The ADT endorsement was unfortunate).
Had a cool first day of school. So much for the sleeveless dress I had bought for her to wear the first day.
Another girl had a first day too! She is just going to a MDO one day a week.
She started ballet. I do not think I am ballet Mom material.
A little thing called College Football started back. Ready to join the Million Dollar Band!
 Lots of gameday outfits
Headed to the first game of the season
Big sis dressed her in black patten leather shoes, wrong feet of course. The necklace and passie were accessorized by Paxton.
She is walking about 75% of the time. She does not care for hardwood floor as much as carpet. Its also been a rocky transition to get her to wear shoes.
She begs for food all the time.
And begs...

Hope everyone is enjoying Fall!

Cincy Trip

Playing sweetly with her cousin. Does not play this gentle with her sister.

I know that my children look like us, but every time I look at my nephew I see my brother as a baby.

We got to shop for my sister's wedding dress while there! It was not quite the "Say ^es to the Dress" experience one might see on television. We were in and out in 45 minutes and there was no crying on any one's part. Still, its beautiful and Tonya is beautiful in it!
M enjoyed trying on all the "crowns" and head pieces.
She was super excited to try on flower girl dresses too. I have quite the little shopper on my hands. Too bad for her that this mommy does not share her enthusiasm for shopping.
Lance and I got to go to the Western & Southern tennis tournament that was going on that week. This is Federer v. Blake.
On a side court we saw Jankovic v. Schiavone which was great. The entire venue is small but this side court was intimate. We were 4 rows up and could hear the conversations they were having with themselves. Neither uses English as a first language though!

As an added bonus our friends Dawn and Jeff came up from Bham to go to it as well and we got to hang out together that Friday night. We saw Djokovic v. Monfilis that night.
Got to see my Great Aunt Fay
We went to Coney Island one day which was a trip down memory lane. I have not been since high school and it brought back so many memories of summers spent here at the world's largest swimming pool.
